Fake Active Shooter Reports Target Loudoun County Schools: Police Loudoun County police dealt with a handful of fake, but serious reports of crime on Monday, Sept. 19, officials reported.During the school day, an individual allegedly called 911 to report an active shooter incident at Loudoun Valley and Loudoun County high schools, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Lockdown: Culpeper School Receives Threats, Area Schools Take Precaution: Police Eastern View High School in Culpeper is in lockdown after receiving threats on Monday, September 19, police said. Sometime before 1:30 p.m., officials announced that the high school, along with other Culpeper public schools, were locking down, according to the Culpeper Police Department. Police said they do not believe there is any real threat to the high school or other schools in the area. Five Weeks Later, 41-Year-Old Still Missing: Virginia State Police A 41-year-old from Newport News is still missing, five weeks after his disappearance, officials said.James Allen was last seen on August 13 at 5:30 a.m. in the 7500 block of River Road, according to the Virginia State Police. Breaking: Man Killed By Electrocution From Fairfax County Power Line: Police Officers were at the scene of a fatal accident involving a bucket truck on Monday, September 19, officials said. Sometime before 1:15 p.m., a power line worker, who was operating a bucket truck on Georgetown Pike near Langley Fork Lane, was electrocuted by a power line, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. Local police arrived at the scene and the victim was pronounced dead, authorities reported. After the incident, parts of the area, between Chain Bridge and Langley Fork, were shut down, police said. Warning: Hurricane 'Fiona' May Mean High Surfs, Rip Currents For Coastal VA: Reports Hurricane Fiona may not make landfall in Virginia, but coastal residents will surely see some changes to the water, officials said.Coastal Virginians can expect high surf and rip currents from Sept. 22 to Sept. 24, thanks to Fiona, according to the Virginia Department of Emergency Management.
