Lockdown: Culpeper School Receives Threats, Area Schools Take Precaution: Police Eastern View High School in Culpeper is in lockdown after receiving threats on Monday, September 19, police said. Sometime before 1:30 p.m., officials announced that the high school, along with other Culpeper public schools, were locking down, according to the Culpeper Police Department. Police said they do not believe there is any real threat to the high school or other schools in the area. Breaking: Man Killed By Electrocution From Fairfax County Power Line: Police Officers were at the scene of a fatal accident involving a bucket truck on Monday, September 19, officials said.  Sometime before 1:15 p.m., a power line worker, who was operating a bucket truck on Georgetown Pike near Langley Fork Lane, was electrocuted by a power line, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. Local police arrived at the scene and the victim was pronounced dead, authorities reported. After the incident, parts of the area, between Chain Bridge and Langley Fork, were shut down, police said.
