The man responsible for a shooting outside a Maryland restaurant that left five people injured will spend decades in prison, authorities announced on Wednesday. A judge sentenced Michael Boyd, Jr., 40, to 90 years in prison, with all but 55 years suspended followed by five years of supervised probation if he is released after being convicted by a jury in April to his role in the Montgomery County shooting last summer. Two Baltimore County men who posed as police officers to abduct and torture their victims as part of a larger robbery conspiracy have been convicted following a three-week trial, federal authorities announced. A 25-year-old man will have decades behind bars to contemplate his life decisions after being convicted of the murder of a man during a botched drug deal, the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office announced on Wednesday.
