Two More Busted For Four-Week Crime Spree Terrorizing DMV Businesses: Feds
Quaysa Flumo and Emmanuel Sumo will have years to think about their actions behind bars after going on a four-week crime spree targeting victims throughout the DMV region, federal authorities announced.
Flumo, a District resident, was sentenced to 234 years in prison, and Sumo, 29, of Takoma Park, was sentenced to 214 months for their roles in a string of armed robberies targeting gas stations, liquor stores, convenience stores, and restaurants in the region.

Murder Suspect Seized In Prince George's County, Police Say
The man responsible for killing a 24-year-old victim and wounding another during a robbery has been captured in Prince George's County, authorities said.
Alex Quinteros, 28, of Takoma Park, has been charged with murder in the shooting death of Hyattsville's Rudy Perez Gutierrez, on Friday, April 14, PGPD said.
Quinteros is believed to have shot Perez Gutierrez, who he did not know, during a robbery on the 2100 block of Guilford Road around 5:15 p.m. that evening, police said.

The Takoma Park Volunteer Fire Department has announced the passing of a devoted and beloved former Chief, who served with the department for over 60 years, officials say.
Officials announced that retired Chief James "Jimmy" Jarboe passed away, on Monday, Sept. 12, according to the Takoma Park Volunteer Fire Department.
