A man and woman are facing charges after setting a fire last summer that killed two cats "and almost a kennel of puppies at their home," the Maryland Fire Marshal announced.
Firebugs Christopher Baker, 36, and April Fazenbaker, 41, both of Friendsville, are facing arson charges following a lengthy probe into a summertime fire that claimed the lives of several family pets and nearly burned up a litter of puppies.

Expensive Warehouse Fire In Maryland Causes $200K In Damage, Officials Say
A Harford County warehouse went up in flames on Wednesday morning, causing hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage, according to the Maryland Fire Marshal.
Firefighters from the Bel Air Fire Company responded shortly after 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9, to the 200 block of Commerce Road in Forest Hill when a neighbor reported that the business was on fire.
It took a team of more than two dozen firefighters to knock down the flames and get the fire under control, but not before it caused an estimated $200,000 ($100,000 to the structure, $100,000 to the warehouse’s contents) in damage.
