Firefighters Rescue Horse From Burning Barn During Back-To-Back Calls In Maryland
It was a busy night for first responders in Frederick County, as firefighters had to deal with back-to-back calls and saved a horse in the process. Shortly before 10:40 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, crews were called to the area of Opossumtown Pike and Bloomfield Road, where there was a reported house fire, which was, in fact, a shed that was fully engulfed. Frederick County Fire and Rescue personnel were able to knock down the flames within 20 minutes, but their night was far from over.
