Woodlawn High Student Hit In The Head With Bat By Another Student (Updates) One student is in the hospital after being hit in the back of the head with a baseball bat at Woodlawn High School in Baltimore, school officials report. The 18-year-old student lost consciousness and required immediate medical attention. They were taken to a local hospital for further treatment, the school said.  In a letter that went out the parents, Principal Jamel Jernigan said the incident happened during one of the school's lunch waves in the cafeteria on Tuesday, March 29.
