Teen Identified As Person Responsible For Bomb Threat At Maryland Middle School (Updated) A 13-year-old has been identified as the person responsible or a bomb threat targeting a Montgomery County middle school earlier this year. In March, Lakelands Park Middle School had to shelter-in-place following a threat that was made targeting the building posted on social media. The bomb threat was reported shortly before 8:45 a.m. on Friday, March 15, and ultimately deemed to be not credible, and there was no threat to students or staff. Students Charged With Hate Crime For Anti-Semitic Sentiment Inside Maryland School: Sheriff A group of teens who allegedly harassed a girl inside a Calvert County middle school for months have been charged with hate crime violations, according to the sheriff's office. Over the weekend, a spokesperson for the agency announced that three 13-year-old students at Plum Point Middle School have been charged as juveniles with harassment and violations of Maryland’s hate crimes statutes.  According to charging documents, the students displayed swastikas, made Nazi salutes, and directed offensive comments to a classmate because of the classmate’s religious beliefs.
