Manchester Man Shot In Leg Drives Himself To Hospital; Shooter Leaves Before Police Arrive Police are investigating a Connecticut shooting that sent a man to the hospital with a bullet wound to his leg.  Police said the incident happened around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, during a disturbance at 171 Wetherell Street in Manchester.  Officers learned of the shooting after a 39-year-old man drove himself to the hospital after he was shot in the leg, police said.
