Fatal Crash: Man Killed In Hit-Run, Police Search For Driver Police are investigating following a hit-and-run crash that killed a Connecticut man. The collision occurred in New Haven around 1:30 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 28 at the intersection of Ella Grasso Boulevard and Washington Avenue. According to Sgt. Cherelle Carr of the New Haven Police, the man was walking on Ella Grasso Boulevard when he was struck by a dark-colored vehicle. The vehicle sped away from the crash site.
