2 Children Hit By Vehicle On Busy CT Roadway Two children ages 7 and 9 were struck by a vehicle on a busy Connecticut roadway.  The incident took place in New Haven County around 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30 in the area of 150 Sunnyside Ave., Waterbury. According to Lt. Ryan Bessette of the Waterbury Police, the children were both struck and injured. The driver stayed on the scene. Both children were transported to Waterbury Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and were considered to be in stable condition, Bessette said. This accident remains under investigation.

Stamford Man Nailed For DUI After Darien Crash, Police Say A Fairfield County man was charged with DUI and failure to drive in the proper lane after crashing his vehicle into a telephone pole. Armando Romero, age 60, of Stamford, was arrested on Sunday, Nov. 12 following the crash in the area of 140 Ledge Road in Darien. According to Sgt. The collision occurred in East Hartford around 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16 near Exit 56. Connecticut State Police identified the victim as Yomar Berrios, age 18, of East Hartford. Bridgeport Police received several calls around 10:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14 regarding a woman lying at the intersection of Stratford Avenue and Bishop Avenue.
