Suspect Nabbed After Robbing Victim At ATM, Police Say A Connecticut man was arrested after threatening to stab a man with an infected needle during an alleged robbery at an ATM. The incident took place in New Haven County in Milford on Tuesday, May 24, at the Webster Bank, 100 Broad St. An investigation into the incident found that Thomas Yorkshaitis, age 39, of Bethany, threatened to stab a man with an infected needle if he did not give him the money withdrawn from an ATM machine, the Milford Police said. Yorkshaitis was arrested and charged with: Larceny Robbery Threatening He was held on a $200,000 bond.

Minutes later patrol officers were notified that a person had been shot at that location. Patient Accused Of Assaulting Staffer At Hospital In Fairfield County A Fairfield County man was arrested for allegedly attacking an area hospital employee and making threats. Brian Dougherty, age 51, of Stamford, was arrested around 3:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 30, after Greenwich Police Officers responded to Greenwich Hospital, authorities said. Dougherty assaulted a member of the hospital staff and made threats, said Greenwich PD Capt. Mark E. Zuccerella. He was charged with assaulting a public health worker, threatening, and disorderly conduct. Dougherty was held on a $10,000 bond which he was unable to post.
