A police department in Fairfield County is conducting an "active administrative investigation into all actions by the officers" involved in the arrest of a man that circulated on social media.
Bridgeport Police said the Sunday, May 2, arrest of Kevin Thomas, age 34, of Bridgeport, is under review after a video surfaced of the arrest in which police had to pepper spray Thomas in order to get him in the police cruiser.

A Fairfield County man who was stabbed to death by his brother is being remembered by his family as being the "life of the party."
Angel L. Valle III, age 34, of Bridgeport, was killed on Wednesday, Jan. 20, by his brother, 25-year-old Julian Daivon Valle, also of Bridgeport during a domestic dispute, Bridgeport Police said.
Valle was a licensed truck driver who loved to hit the road, his obituary said.

A man who was sentenced to 12 years in prison for manslaughter was recently nabbed by the police as he allegedly attempted to flee a domestic violence incident.
On Tuesday, Dec. 1, at around 6:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a violent domestic disturbance on Taylor Street in Manchester. A female victim said that she had been strangled, assaulted, and threatened by her ex-boyfriend Stephen Soboleski, Manchester Police said.

Police arrested the same Milford man twice within 5 hours, and at the same location.
Edward White, 37, of Milford, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 21, and Thursday, Oct. 22, Milford Police said.
White was arrested on Wednesday, around 10:30 p.m. when police responded to a report of a possible domestic violence incident at a Lenox Avenue home.
Following an investigation, police allege White grabbed a woman by her arms and pulled them behind her back during an argument.
