Boater Dumped Fuel, Untreated Human Waste Into Norwalk Harbor: Police
A 79-year-old Connecticut man admitted to police that he dumped diesel fuel and untreated human waste from his boat into Norwalk Harbor last week, authorities said.
Stanley Sikorski, of Norwalk in Fairfield County, was charged with discharging sewage in a no-discharge zone, misuse of a marine sanitation device, and littering in the water, police said on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Norwalk Police were called to a reported diesel spill just before 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, at Manresa Island. Officers could see a sheen on the water and smell fuel in the air.

A wrong-way Connecticut driver led police on a brief pursuit before crashing into two other cars, injuring a driver, and then assaulting two officers, police said.
The Fairfield County incident happened at around 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 15, in the town of Wilton.
Wilton Police said Jorge Oliva, age 48, of Trumbull, was seen speeding in a Honda SUV going northbound in the southbound lanes of Route 7 (Danbury Road) near Ridgefield Road close to oncoming traffic.

Duo Caught Dumping Truckload Of Old Tires Near Retail Parking Lot In Trumbull
Two men were apprehended after allegedly dumping a truckload of used vehicle tires near a local retail parking lot in Fairfield County.
The men were caught in Trumbull around 8 p.m. Friday, May 19 in the area of Old Mine Park.
Jamel Bracy, age 25, of the Bronx, New York, and Jordan Malone, age 26, of Danbury, were charged with littering and discharge without a permit when they were stopped by officers several blocks away on Route 25, said Lt. Brian Weir, of the Trumbull Police.
