Body Found In Fairfield County Pond A man's body was found by a resident floating in a pond in Fairfield County. Around 7 p.m., Thursday, April 8, a concerned citizen notified the Danbury Police Department of a possible body submerged in a retention pond at the entrance of 55 Mill Plain Road in Danbury. Responding officers confirmed the report and summoned police investigators, who were assisted by members of the Danbury Police Department Dive Team and the Danbury Fire Department, said Danbury Police Det.
