Hit-Run: CT Man Charged With Killing 19-Year-old Woman
Police have arrested a man for a hit-and-run crash that killed a 19-year-old Fairfield County woman.
Troy Watley, age 28, of Stratford, was arrested on Saturday, July 1, after he allegedly hit and killed the 19-year-old shortly after 12 a.m., near St, Michael’s Cemetery on Stratford Avenue and then fled from the scene, said Capt. Frank Eannotti, of the Stratford Police.
When Stratford police arrived on the scene they found Michelle Rodriguez, of Stratford, lying in the roadway, Eannotti said.
She was rushed to Bridgeport Hospital where she died from her injuries.

A man faces up to four decades in prison for distributing methamphetamine and oxycodone in Fairfield County, federal officials said.
Stratford resident Edward Johnson, age 31, was charged by indictment with selling controlled substances in the Stratford and Bridgeport area, the US Attorney's Office for the District of Connecticut announced on Thursday, June 29.

Armed, Dangerous Suspect Wanted In CT Murder Caught, Police Say
A man who was considered armed and dangerous and wanted for a stabbing homicide in Fairfield County has been apprehended by police.
Lawrence Blue, age 45, of Bridgeport, was caught hours after the word went out on Saturday, Oct. 29, that he was wanted for the early morning stabbing death of 23-year-old Justice Hunter of Bridgeport, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police.
The homicide was discovered around 4:15 a.m. Saturday, when Bridgeport officers responded to the 800 block of Atlantic Street on the report of a party stabbed at that location, Gilleran said.

CT Man Nabbed For Murder Of 29-Year-Old, Police Say
A Fairfield County man has been charged in the shooting death of a 29-year-old man and the wounding of two others.
Joseph DeJesus, formerly known as Joseph Reyes, age 38, of Stratford, was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 25 for the Saturday, Oct. 8 shooting death of Dominique Jones, of Bridgeport, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran, of the Bridgeport Police.
DeJesus was apprehended by members of the US Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force, along with members of the Bridgeport and Stratford Police Department, Gilleran added.
