35-Year-Old Killed In Double-Fatal CT Crash Remembered: 'Glue That Held Family Together' Friends and family members of a Fairfield County man killed in a car crash are remembering their beloved and working to raise money to help cover his funeral costs. Jesus Roman III, age 35, died on Sunday, Oct. 8 when the Jeep he was in crashed into a pond in Easton, killing Roman and Amy L. Rockwell, age 45, of Newtown. New Update: IDs Released For Man, Woman Found Dead In CT Pond Two people found dead inside a vehicle in a Fairfield County pond have been identified by police. The two were found in the pond in Easton on Stepney Road near Church Road inside a 1995 Jeep Cherokee which was partially submerged in water and tipping to the driver's side. During an investigation, Easton Police and Fire personnel found two occupants in the vehicle who were pronounced dead on the scene, said Easton Police Chief Richard Doyle.
