Shelton Police: Running Red Light Lands Felon Behind Bars For Drugs, Gun
A 35-year-old convicted felon landed behind bars after allegedly running a red light in front of a police officer in Fairfield County. Ramon Capacete, of Seymour, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 24, in Shelton after police officer John Kekac stopped his vehicle for running a red light on Bridgeport Avenue, said Shelton Police Det. Richard Bango. After stopping Capacete, Kekac discovered the vehicle was not registered or insured and that Capacete did not have a driver's license, Bango said.
