Former Fairfield County Resident Dies Unexpectedly At Age 25
A man who grew up in Fairfield County and pursued higher education opportunities out of state has died at the age of 25.
Luke Walter Kostrzewski, a former resident of Darien, died unexpectedly in Charleston, South Carolina, on Tuesday, July 19, according to his obituary.
He was born in Stamford and graduated from Darien High School.
According to his obituary, Kostrzewski also graduated from the College of Charleston, and he had plans to continue his education.

Kieran Rhodes, age 20, of Boston, can be seen auditioning on the Tuesday, June 21, episode of the hit NBC show, NewsChannel 13 in Albany reports.
The singer and songwriter told the outlet he didn’t apply to be on the show, but was approached by one of the show’s producers, who heard him perform in Boston, where he attends Berklee College of Music.

Billy Joel's Madison Square Garden concert that was set to take place this month has been rescheduled for a second time.The concert, which was scheduled for Friday, Jan. 14, has been moved to Wednesday, Aug. 24, according to an announcement on the musician's website on Wednesday, Jan. 5.

The 42nd annual Norwalk Seaport Association Oyster Festival is expected to draw thousands of visitors for performances, food, and fun.
