Man Nabbed For Assaulting Girlfriend In Westport, Police Say A 35-year-old Connecticut man is behind bars for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend in a car. The incident occurred in Westport around 1:20 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 5 on the Sherwood Island Connector. According to Lt. Eric Woods, of the Westport Police, New Haven County resident Antonio Trusty, of Waterbury, was arrested after receiving information from his girlfriend that she was assaulted in a car and prevented from calling 911. The incident took place in Fairfield County around 3 a.m., Sunday, May 10, when a Greenwich resident called police to report that his residence on Buena Vista Drive had lost power, and three men were seen on his property, said Greenwich Lt.
