FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. - The National Weather Service has issued a severe storm warning for southern Connecticut until 11 p.m., Monday.
According to the warning, numerous thunderstorms are expected to develop over the rest of the day.
The weather service reports some of the storms could produce heavy rain, frequent lightning, hail and wind gusts over 40 miles per hour.
