After persistent snow bands coated the region for the morning commute, a few lingering periods of light snow will continue to threaten the region throughout Thursday. High temperatures are expected to be about 37 degrees with less than an inch of additional snow accumulation.
The weather will brighten Friday with partly sunny skies and high temperatures near 40.
A slow warming trend will continue over the weekend with sunny skies and temperatures reaching into the mid-40s by Sunday.
