High-Speed I-95 Chase Ends With Crash, Arrest Of Wanted Man
A 27-year-old man wanted on two warrants for violating probation was nabbed following a high-speed chase on I-95 in Fairfield County. Justin Salicrup of Bridgeport was arrested on Saturday, Oct. 13, by Milford Police after failing to stop for police for a routine traffic violation, said Officer Joseph Dempsey. According to Dempsey, officers attempted to stop Salicrup on Bridgeport Avenue near Schoolhouse Road. Passenger In Vehicle Stopped On I-95 Caught With Crack, Gives Officer Fake Name, Police Say
A 45-year-old Fairfield County woman who was a passenger in a car stopped for a routine traffic violation ended up in handcuffs after drugs were found, police said. Natasha Randolph of Bridgeport was charged around 3 a.m. Sunday when Milford officers stopped the vehicle on I-95 near the on-ramp of Exit 34. During the stop, Randolph was found in possession of suspected crack cocaine, according to Milford Police. She was also charged with interfering with an arrest after giving police a fake name, the arrest report said. She was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court on Oct. 30.

Danbury Motorist Arrested On Active Warrant On I-95 In Greenwich
A Danbury man wanted on at least two warrants was arrested after being pulled over for a traffic violation. Edwin Gonzalez-Martinez, 26, was pulled over on I-95 by Greenwich Police early Friday for a traffic violation. When the officer ran a criminal background check, he found Gonzalez-Martinez was wanted on active warrants, said a Greenwich Police arrest report. According to court records, Gonzalez-Martinez has numerous charges related to driving, missing court appearances, and vehicle infractions in Danbury. Three teens, including two juveniles, were nabbed following a police chase in a stolen vehicle at a high rate of speed through two towns. The incident took place around 3:15 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, when Westport Police Corporal Kevin Smith spotted a vehicle traveling westbound in the area of 877 Post Road East at a high rate of speed, said Westport Police. A Fairfield County man was busted driving his BMW more than double the legal limit through a busy intersection in Greenwich, police said. Officers from the Greenwich Police Department stopped Stamford resident Robert Homer at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1, when his BMW 650xi convertible was clocked going more than 60 mph in a 30 mph zone at the intersection of East Putnam Avenue and Riverside Avenue in Greenwich. A 35-year-old Connecticut man was busted in Rhode Island for allegedly driving drunk with a 4-year--old in the car. An alleged drunk driver going nearly 20 mph over the posted speed limit in Westport nearly struck an officer on patrol during a late night ride, according to the Westport Police Department.
