Tickets are selling quickly for the sixth annual SportsNight Hall of Fame awards dinner, which will take place Monday, Oct 18, at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich with author and ESPN reporter Jeremy Schaap of Westport as the featured speaker.
The six newest inductees to the Fairfield County Sports Hall of Fame will be honored. They are Garry Cobb, Amanda Pape, and the late Mickey Lione, all from Stamford; Stratford's John Hirschbeck; Bridgeport's Alvin Clinkscales; and Trumbull's Vito Montelli. Sports Persons of the Year from 15 county communities will also be recognized.
