Drop Anchor in Nrra's Community Challenge

The Norwalk River Rowing Association welcomes teams for its third annual Community Challenge. Training begins the week of May 16 and the championship race and party are scheduled for June 25.

Organizations can register in 10-person or five-person teams. Teams get six weeks of training as well as a promotion of teamwork and community spirit and a fun-filled race day and party.

There are two competition levels. The Challenger Series is for teams new to the sport. The Defender Series is open to experienced rowers. The teams are eights (eight rowers, a coxswain and a spare) and quads (four rowers and a spare). The eights must include at least two women. The quads must have at least one woman.

Complete information is available on the NRRA website. Contact Brian Ambrette at brian@norwalkriverrowing.org
