Champions Crowned in Youth Soccer

The SouthWest District of the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association held its season-ending championships last weekend. Champions were crowned in three divisions in boys and girls age groups ranging from 11-14 years old.

In the 11-year-old girls division, Westport won the A Division and Greenwich won the B Division. Fairfield United Soccer Association and Wilton were the C Division co-champions.

Fairfield United won the A Division in the 12-year-old girls age group. Weston won the C Division, while Greenwich and Ridgefield shared the B Division crown. Darien and Fairfield United were co-champions in the 13-year-old age division. New Canaan won the C Division. In the 14-year-old girls age group, Fairfield United and Greenwich were co-champions in the B Division.

In the boys 11-year-old division, Old Greenwich Riverside Community Center and Stamford shared A Division honors. Greenwich and Ridgefield shared the B Division title, while Old Greenwich Riverside took C Division honors.

Greenwich won the 12-year-old boys B Division, and New Canaan won the C Division. Stamford's boys took the 13-year-old A Division, while Easton/Redding captured the C Division. In the 14-year-old boys division, Fairfield United won the A crown and Weston took B Division honors.
