Rogers International Wins Better Schools Bonanza!

Congratulations to Rogers International School in Stamford. It’s the grand winner of the $10,000 top prize in Main Street Connect’s Better Schools Bonanza, sponsored by Arthur Murray Grande Ballroom of Greenwich. The school earned more than 7,500 votes from family, friends and supporters.

The $1,000 runner-up prize goes to Rowayton Elementary School in Norwalk, which tallied nearly 7,000 votes.

Thirty-one Fairfield County elementary schools got at least 500 votes, winning them each a $500 check.

In total, Main Street Connect will donate $26,500 to the cause of Fairfield County elementary school education. The money goes to each school’s Parent Teacher Organization or Association, which will help decide which programs need added support.
