The Handler family has outgrown its current home in Darien and has started shopping for something a little bigger. Wed like to find a house where theres room for the kids to ride their bikes, said Elisa Handler. The kids with bikes are Ethan, 9, Brendan, 7, and 3 year-old twins Samantha and Sydney. We had planned on three kids, said Eric Handler, the dad, but we got a surprise with the twins.
Jill Keating Brannigan, an agent with Al Filippone Associates, was on location at the open house in Darien and showed the Handlers around. Everyone admired the level backyard and they discussed whether there was room to install a pool. The house had a nice circular drive and the main entrance was on a cul-de-sac. Perfect for biking kids! The two very well behaved kids in tow that day explored the bedrooms and particularly enjoyed the circular back staircase. Elisa and Eric liked the large family room and the three season screened-in porch. They asked Jill about the finished space next to the garage, currently being used as a home office. Perhaps it could be turned into a guest bedroom?
Were just starting to look so were not really serious as of now, said Eric, adding that they havent put their own house on the market yet.
