The jogger, whose age and gender were not revealed, told police that they were in the area of Beach Road at around 5 p.m. Thursday when a man in a small red car slowed down to follow them, the Hour reported. The man then blocked the jogger's path and offered them cash to get into his car, according to the Hour.
The jogger then took off and called police, the Hour reported. The man in the car was described as being between 20 and 30 years old with short blond hair and blue eyes, the Hour reported. He was wearing eyeglasses with gold and black frames, according to the Hour.
Anyone with information about the man is asked to contact the Norwalk Police Department.
