Housing Nonprofit Hosts Charity Fashion Show

WESTPORT, Conn. – See a fashion show, eat lunch, do some pre-holiday shopping and help support Westport's CLASP Homes this Wednesday at the eighth-annual CLASP Fashion Show Luncheon at the Westport Woman's Club.

CLASP Homes is a nonprofit that provides support for people with autism and development disabilities through group homes and apartments. The organization serves about 80 people in Westport and nearby towns, including Fairfield, Norwalk, Trumbull, Easton, Wilton, Stratford and Shelton.

Beyond housing, CLASP Homes also offers career and community programs for its residents.

During the show, CLASP residents will model the latest fashions by Eileen Fisher. Emmy award-winning journalist Dianne Wildman will be the master of ceremonies. The event will also feature a silent auction and a marketplace filled with a variety of items, including recycled jewelry, watches and handbags.

The Westort Woman's Club is located at 44 Imperial Ave. The show will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets are $60 and $65 at the door. To purchase tickets in advance or make a donation, call 203-226-7895, Ext. 144.
