Triathletes: Run (Swim or Bike) to Workshop

If you’re planning on participating in a triathlon, sprint over to a free workshop on Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. at Elite Health Services, 1445 E. Putnam Ave. in Greenwich.

The program, "Off Season Priorities for Triathletes," will be led by orthopaedic surgeon Katie Vadasdi and Elite's physical therapists and trainers. It is open to triathletes who are interested in learning how to make the most of off-season training. Participants should come dressed – and ready – to work out.

Sports medicine specialist and triathlete Dr. Katie Vadasdi, of the ONS Foundation for Clinical Research and Education, will discuss how to return to racing after injuries, among other topics.

Participants will also learn to spot the common mistakes made while running. Therapists will demonstrate proper running mechanics with volunteers on treadmills.
