Sexy Shoes Strut for Good Cause

Don’t call it a foot fetish. Saks Fifth Avenue Greenwich will host a sexy shoe celebration, previewing the hottest footwear of the season, from Manolos to Louboutins, in an effort to raise funds for the YWCA of Greenwich.

It promises to be an event that would make even Carrie Bradshaw swoon, with models strutting in the sexiest shoes that style enthusiasts at Saks have to offer. Elizabeth Kanfer, Saks Fashion and co-brand director of accessories, will be on hand to walk guests through the most coveted styles in footwear and other accessories for the holiday season.

The shoegasmic event happens Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the stylish Saks outpost On the Ave. in Greenwich. And it’s a charitable excuse to indulge your shoe addiction, as 10 percent of the evening's sales will be donated to the YWCA Greenwich, whose mission it is to empower women and eliminate racism. What’s more empowering than a hot pair of heels?

Need another reason to go? Admission is free.

Should all the shoe envy leave you hungry, tastings and other refreshments will be provided by Barcelona Restaurant and W.J. Deutsch & Sons.

The only remaining question: How high will your heels be?
