Its that time of year again time to kit out a dorm room for your newly minted college freshman. Ask any parent who has been through this physically and mentally fraught process and youll mostly get the same advice. Do NOT buy everything on your kids' must-have list because they wont need or use half of it. And thats a fact.
However, there are certain things you will need and the #1 item on the list is extra-long twin bed linens. Item #2 is a pop-up laundry hamper and item #3 would be bed risers so that your student can stash storage boxes underneath the bed. Dorm rooms are usually pretty tight on space especially for the freshman.
The marketing folks at Bed Bath & Beyond have come up with a great idea that will help students moving to colleges that are a plane-ride away. BB&Bs college checklist (see above before you check every box!) will help keep everyone organized and they will also ship your selections to your student at their new home away from home.
