Get Moving for National Dance Day

STAMFORD, Conn. – So, you think you can dance? Norwalk's Kristen Rzasa thinks so too, and she invites you to join her Saturday at the Church of the Archangels on Bedford Street in Stamford for National Dance Day.

The day is intended to promote health and wellness nationwide. Saturday's event is free and starts at 11 a.m. The event is sponsored by Jazzercise, and no dance experience is necessary.

Beginners start dancing at 11 a.m., followed by intermediates at 11:30 and advanced dancers at noon. At 12:30 p.m., everybody gets moving one final time. The movements will be led by Rzasa, who owns Jazzercise of Southwestern Connecticut, which has a center on Hope Street.
