FAIRFIELD, Conn.Cinco de Mayo meets Bodega Taco Bars first anniversary in a May 5 pig roast. The Bodega boysowners Mario Fontana and Luis Chavez (from Valencia Luncheria), and Chef Michael Youngare going all out to make it a real feast.
The pig will roast in La Caja China Roasting Box, which has been custom made just for the occasion. Tacos and plenty of other dishes will be cooking under the big top, too. Live music and dancing will keep you entertained, along with tequila tastings, cocktail specials and a guacamole slapping demo.
The party starts at noon, just behind Bodega Taco Bar, located in Heritage Square at 1700 Post Rd. in Fairfield.
