Kors Creates Fashion Bliss

Women who wanted a piece of New York City's Bryant Park Fashion Week were at Richard's in Greenwich last night. This high end department store, brimming with designer fashions and accessories, was the backdrop for star designer Michael Kors who presented his fall 2010 line. Kors told the crowd of Fairfield County fashionistas about his excitement in returning to Richard's, which he does every year. "You have fabulous-looking clients, who have great taste, who get to shop at a store with the most beautiful merchandise and the nicest people. So count me in! I'm always happy to come to Greenwich," he said.

In a color palette of blacks, grays, camels, gold and browns with high leather buckle strapped booties and flowing sequin evening gowns, Kors defined his fashion focus, with trendy, comfortable and confident women as the central characters of his story.

Furs and cashmere of grays and camel neutrals combined with a soft and elegant sophistication. A very sincere Kors told his audience, "I love coming here to Richards. I've been to every nook and cranny in the world and frankly, there is no other store like this anywhere in the world." The show was followed by a personal meet and greet with the designer and an up-close look at his fashions from the show. And unlike the scene from "Sex and the City the Movie", there was no red paint flung on the fur fashions leaving the event, only fashion bliss. Thank you Mr. Kors, come again soon.
