1 Critically Injured, Witnesses Wanted After Crash At CT Intersection Police are searching for witnesses to a crash that left a motorist in critical condition with life-threatening injuries in Fairfield County. The collision took place in Greenwich around 12:30 p.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at the intersection of Round Hill Road and Close Road. According to Traffic Sgt. JD Smith of the Greenwich Police, when officers arrived on the scene they found that a motorcycle rider had collided head-on with a vehicle. CT Woman Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash After Hitting Stone Wall A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash after her SUV left the roadway and hit a stone wall in Fairfield County, said authorities. The fatal crash, which killed a 52-year-old, took place Tuesday, July 13, on Lake Avenue in Greenwich. According to Slusarz, a 2013 Chevy Suburban was traveling north on Lake Avenue between Round Hill Road and Parsonage Road when it left the roadway and struck a stone wall and tree, said Greenwich PD Lt.
