The incident occurred in Wilton on Thursday, March 21 at the intersection of of Danbury Road and Grumman Hill Road. Woman Nabbed After Driving Drunk In CT: Police A 48-year-old woman faces drunk driving charges after being pulled over on a busy road in Fairfield County, police announced. The Fairfield County incident happened on the night of St. Partick’s Day (Sunday, March 17) in the town of Wilton. Just before 10 p.m., 35-year-old Amanda Oboy was reportedly driving her Jeep down Danbury Road (Route 7) near Cricket Lane going 54 miles per hour (nearly 20 over the speed limit of 35). Edward Turner, age 57, of Danbury, was stopped by Wilton Police around 2:15 a.m., Friday, Dec. 8 in his gray 2014 Chevrolet Traverse. According to Lt. Anna Tornello of the Wilton Police, Turner was stopped after police spotted him failing to maintain his lane of travel on Danbury Road.
