Daily Voice is expanding its reach in our—and your—home state of Connecticut. While local newspapers and online sites are closing their doors and leaving areas of the Nutmeg State without a local news outlet, we’re going from 1 Middlesex County site to 11, covering individual towns in the county starting later in April.
“News deserts” (places without any local newspaper, even a weekly) surround more than a fifth of U.S. citizens, but Daily Voice is here to pick up the slack.
Our goal has always been to provide you with fast, trusted, and local news. We strive to bridge the “news desert” between national and hyper-local, covering town, city, county, and state, while being apolitical, non-partisan, and as fair and complete as possible.
