3 Masked Men, Getaway Driver Caught After Trying To Break Into Apartment In CT: Police Four men face numerous burglary, firearm, and drug charges after authorities observed them try and break into a Fairfield County apartment and then flee in a getaway car with counterfeit plates, police said.  The incident happened on Friday, April 28, when members of the Bridgeport Police Regional Auto Theft Task Force were operating in the area of Ridgefield Avenue and Barnum Avenue and spotted a gray Mercedes Benz C-300 with heavily tinted windows and counterfeit New Jersey registration plate circling an apartment building at 50 Ridgefield Ave.  After making …

Person Seriously Injured After Crash At CT Intersection One person was seriously injured during a two-vehicle crash in Fairfield County. It happened in Bridgeport around 4 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 30 at East and Barnum avenues. Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management for Bridgeport, said the crash involved a motorcycle and a vehicle, with the motorcyclist injured. The motorcyclist was transported to a hospital with an unknown extent of injuries, Appleby said. The crash is currently under investigation.  Check back to Daily Voice for updates.

The incident took place around 5 p.m., Sunday, April 3 in Bridgeport on Barnum Avenue. Kemesha Robert Johnson, age 40, died around 3 a.m. Sunday, March 13, in Bridgeport near the intersection of Boston Avenue and Remington Street, authorities said.
