Video Of Basketball Star's Death May Contradict Suspect's Story The man accused of fatally shooting a young, basketball star said he fired in self-defense after the victim allegedly became enraged by the man’s laughter. Video footage of the incident, though, appears to dispute this.  Court documents that were recently released reveal the shooter’s side of the story as well as witness statements and the contents of surveillance video. Jason Stone, 33, of East Hartford, said he shot Albertus Magnus basketball player Jaquawn Walters, of Hartford, 24, following a drug deal. Surveillance video appears to show Walters walking backward away from Stone.…
