Target To Close Stores In 4 States, Citing Theft, Organized Retail Crime
Citing incidents involving violence and theft, Target announced it is closing nine stores in four states, including one in New York.
The New York store is in Manhattan, at 517 E 117th St.
Three other stores are in California, in the San Francisco/Oakland market, and three in Oregon, in Portland.
Two of the stores are in Seattle, Washington.

The BOSS Grill, located in Hartford County at 224 Berlin Turnpike in Berlin, closed on Saturday, Sept. 16, the restaurant announced on social media.

Stop & Shop Hosting Career Fair To Fill Hundreds Of Jobs At 34 CT Locations
Supermarket chain Stop & Shop will host a one-day career fair to fill hundreds of open positions at its Connecticut stores on Saturday, Sept. 23.
On-the-spot interviews will be held at 34 locations across Fairfield, New Haven, and Litchfield counties for permanent, part-time store and e-commerce positions, the company announced.
Pay starts at $15 an hour, including union positions in the bakery, deli, grocery, seafood, produce, and pharmacy departments.

A pizzeria that served as a staple in New Haven County for over three decades has closed its doors for good.
Franco's Pizza, located in Milford at 11 Berwyn St., permanently closed on Wednesday, July 26, the owners announced on the eatery's website.
