Road-Rage Incident Leads To DUI Charge For CT Man, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been accused of driving under the influence following a road-rage incident. Michael James Slocum, age 32, of Stamford, was arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 31, after officers in New Canaan were dispatched to the area of South Avenue and Farm Road on a report of a road rage incident that had occurred between two motorists. CT Boy, 12, Struck By Vehicle On His Way To School, Police Say A 12-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle while on his way to school in Fairfield County. The incident took place around 8:17 a.m., Tuesday, April 27, at the intersection of South Avenue and Farm Road in New Canaan, said New Canaan Police Lt. Jason Ferraro. According to Ferraro, the boy, a 12-year-old boy, a student at Saxe Middle School, suffered minor injuries from the crash and was transported to Norwalk Hospital ER by NC EMS for treatment and further evaluation of his injuries.
