The attack took place on Thursday, Jan. 28, at the restaurant located 268 West Putnam Ave. in Greenwich. To Stop Car Thefts, Police 'Deputize' City's Entire Population A city Police Department has promoted every city resident in an effort to fight back against a rash of motor vehicle break-ins and thefts. On Sunday, Nov. 15, Enfield Police notified all of Enfield's 44,500 residents that they have been deputized as honorary Enfield Police Crime Prevention Aides.
