Fatal Stabbing On Halloween Police are investigating a fatal stabbing as well as other violent crimes that took place on Halloween. On Saturday, Oct. 31, around 9 p.m., police responded to the 100 block of Maple Avenue in Hartford for a report of a stabbing, police said. The investigation soon turned into a homicide case as the stabbing was fatal, police said. The incident is under investigation by the Hartford Major Crimes and Crime Scene Division, police said.
