Festivities will start with a 5K run co-sponsored by Runner’s Roost. T-shirts will be given to the first 150 registrants, and the early registration fee is $20.

The race will be followed by an outdoor festival with live music of all genres with local bands Dr. B and the Brotherhood, Ken Atkins & the Honky Tonk Kind, and more.

There is no admission for the post party, but it is a fundraiser for “Click it for Cassie” and The Open Door Shelter. A donation is suggested. The event will take place rain or shine. The food will feature Rory's classic pub fare and Caribbean specials.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit “Click It for Cassie,” a charity started by Tom and Anne Geary, previous owners of Rory’s, to promote seat belt awareness to save lives of children and adults. The event also benefits the Open Door Shelter in Norwalk, which directly services the needs of the local homeless giving them food and shelter on a daily basis.
