The U.S. Department of Education on Tuesday, Sept. 19 recognized 353 schools across the country as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2023.  The recognition is based on a school’s overall academic performance or progress in closing achievement gaps among student groups on assessments. US Department Of Education Opening Title IX Probe Into Loudoun County Public Schools The US Department of Education is launching an investigation into Loudoun County Public Schools due to concerns about Title IX violations. Earlier this year, the America Legal First Legal Foundation (AFL) demanded an investigation by the DOE's Office for Civil Rights (OCR), alleging that the district mishandled and failed to respond appropriately to reports of sexual misconduct.
