Undercover Prostitution Bust Nets Multiple Arrests At 2 Hotels Stafford: Sheriff Fugitives were among five people arrested in an undercover prostitution sting at two motels in Stafford County this week, authorities said. Stafford County Sheriff's Detective RJ Grella met a woman online on Dec. 12, and met up with her at the Staybridge Suites on Richmond Highway after a brief text exchange, Sheriff David Decatur said. Grella and patrol deputies made contact with the woman and found drugs in the room, Decatur said. 3rd DUI For Driver Who Blew School Bus Stop Sign In Stafford: Sheriff A 63-year-old Stafford woman got her third-ever DUI after she passed a school bus, police said. Ellen Brandon showed clear signs of intoxication when a Stafford County Sheriff's deputy pulled her over after she ignored a bus stop sign around 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, Sheriff David Decatur said. The traffic infraction happened near the 2000 block of Richmond Highway, Decatur said. Brandon, whose breath smelled of alcohol, also had half a liter of wine in the vehicle, and admitted to consuming half a liter of wine prior to driving. Unruly Stafford Customer Throws Water On IHOP Waitress Officers responded to a report of an early morning assault at an IHOP over the weekend in Stafford County, authorities said. Deputies responded to the IHOP on 320 Worth Avenue in Stafford around 12:40 p.m. after a customer in a group of unruly individuals threw water at a waitress, the Stafford County Sheriff's Department said.
