115 MPH Pursuit Crosses 3 County Lines In Virginia; Stolen Handgun, Drugs Recovered: Police A 24-year-old North Carolina man who led a 115 mph pursuit that crossed three county lines in Virginia has been taken into custody, and two of his passengers treated for injuries, authorities said. Marquilis T. Boyd, of Charlotte, NC, was behind the wheel of a Ford Taurus with an expired tag when Virginia State Police tried to stop the vehicle on Interstate 81 at the 245-exit ramp in Rockingham County, around 11:45 a.m. Monday, Aug. 7, VSP Sgt.
