Three Hurt When Freight Train Strikes Truck Leaving From Prince William County Farm: Reports
Three people were injured after a freight train struck a truck on the tracks Thursday morning in a remote area of Prince William County, according to reports. The crash was called in at approximately 9 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19 in the 11200 block of Aden Road in the Nokesville area when the Norfolk Southern freight train collided with a work truck reportedly filled with sod. One person suffered what is being described as life-threatening injuries and had to be airlifted to the hospital, while the other two victims are being treated and evaluated for less severe injuries.
