Kendall Wade Neas was operating a 2016 Suzuki motorcycle on the 4200 block of Massaponax Church Road when he crossed the double yellow line coming out of a curve at a high rate of speed around 6:30 p.m., Major Troy Skebo of the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office said.
Neas struck a 2019 Subaru head-on, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Subaru's 27-year-old driver was treated at the scene and released.
The accident remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Team. Sheriff Roger Harris expresses his deepest condolences to the victim and families affected by the incident.
